Calendar of local government meetings
Kinney County is s busy place. These schedules are only for our government-type meetings. There are many other organizations that work for the good of the community not listed here.
This is a calendar of meetings held by our governmental entities, political subdivisions and one pretty unique homeowners association and is subject to change. They hold special meetings, too, but those are random so you have to check their websites for those times.

The new CAD calendar hasn’t yet been set for 2025 but the above link will take you to the names of board members.
The Kinney County Post publishes notes on several of these meetings, including commissioners court, the city and the fort association. The Brackett Beacon publishes stories on the groundwater district.
Everyone should take part in these meetings as best they can. Attend if possible, or watch online if the entity offers that option.
As property owners, you pay taxes or fees to these administrations (for the CAD, each taxing entity pays a fee to them, so it not direct from you. It’s still your tax dollars). It’s wise to keep an eye on how your money is being spent.
When somebody says “the government is paying” for something, remember: the government is not paying. You are.
This being a holiday month, schedules are off schedule. The Fort Clark Springs Association meeting is on Saturday, Dec. 14. Please check with each entity on their websites to be sure of days and times.
